  My father passed in August 2009 after a long battle with cancer. My entire family bickered about where arrangements would be made after he passed. However, a family friend suggested Consalus Funeral Home. My mother took her advice and couldn't have made a better choice. The director helped us all through the hardest decisions we had to make. The service was lovely and we are sure it made daddy happy too. Then in April 2010 my mother passed away after two weeks of battling cancer. We knew immediately where we would make arrangements. We went through Consalus again and were pleased. Although we decided to make the arrangements through the church ourselves the funeral director still came to the memorial serice at no charge to help us out. Everything in general was very affordable and we were able to pay off both the funerals even though we didn't have much money.
  
  I must admit that after such great service with care and consideration I decided to bring my internship for embalming and funeral directing to this home in hopes that I can spread the same type of care and trust to others who will be in the same position I was once in.
